meet susanne grant
Two-Time Bestselling Author, Multi-Award-Winning Entrepreneur and Work-life Balance Expert, Susanne Grant will transform the way you think about success in the workplace.
Her firm's proprietary framework the "Grant Method'' has helped clients save millions in business in the health-related absence and turnover costs. On top of that, the framework allows them to recruit and retain top (female) millennial talent by building a name for themselves as one of the top employers in the marketplace. Susanne's background in history, specialising in human technology throughout the centuries, has given her a unique insight into why we believe the way work “has to be” the way it is. In the past, she has worked for prestigious institutes such as the Royal Dutch Weather Institute (KNMI) researching and analysing historical data, and developing important insights for the current status quo. Her work as a data analyst continued for several global companies until she started her own company in 2015 after the birth of her first child. Since the early age of twelve, Susanne has been teaching. First, as a gymnast training children, but now twenty plus years later she has been featured alongside Gary Vee, Grant Cardone on podcasts like The Raygacy Show, Awarepreneur Podcast and Yeukai Business Show - UK's Premium Business Show. Because of her ability to understand complex data and the experience to translate this into layman's terms, her talks, in both Dutch and English, are said to be "inspiring, funny and engaging". Having just been nominated for The Great British Wellbeing in the Workplace Awards in the category Breaking The Silence, Susanne's work is getting recognition for her outstanding skills from experts in the field. |
"How we define success as a culture has led to many struggling with guilt, anxiety, stress, burnout or worse. Is the way we define success ready for a drastic upgrade? With suicide still being the #1 cause of death for males in the UK (age 21-45), I believe it is time to open up the dialogue about the importance of (mental) health for the business, the people and the bottom line.” Susanne Grant
putting people before profitBesides being nominated for The Great British Wellbeing in the Workplace Awards, Susanne has also been nominated for the Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2020 and she has received The Brainz 500 Awards as well as Corporate Livewire Prestige Awards for Best Business Coach 21/22.
Other than being a passionate speaker, Susanne is an excellent writer. Besides her two best-sellers, and a third to be released in 2022, she has written for several business magazines and online platforms. She has been on the front cover of Brainz Magazine and FEM (Feminist Entrepreneurs Magazine) as well as featured in Thrive Global, Authority Magazine, Global Millionaire Magazine, Billion Success and many more. Susanne is a mental health advocate and is on a mission to end the stigma due to the diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) at the early age of 17 after a traumatic childhood. Having first-hand experience managing mental - now fully recovered - and physical wellbeing as a female millennial mother of two, she is lifting the veil to help us understand so we can redefine success, and challenge the status quo by putting people before profit (and the astonishing effects this has on productivity and the bottom line) with her award-winning coaching company, sold-out workshops and life-changing events. In fact, thousands of people have benefited from her work as they implement Susanne’s motto: “Work Smarter, Not Harder”. |
FRequently asked questions
You must have the perfect life? You seem like you have it all figured out. I hate to burst your bubble, but I am afraid I don’t have it all figured out, nor am I perfect.
With 2 small children, a booming business and a busy field service engineer husband (the only one in Scotland for this particular field) I am not managing to do things in a way that works for me all the time. For years, I worked 60-80 hours per week easily and for a long time this worked for me. Until my (mental) health got up with me and I had to admit that working harder no longer was an option. I had to work smarter if I wanted to get everything done AND not sacrifice my health, relationships or myself in the process. I learned how to listen to my body and intuition to create a life that works for me, my family and my business. Occasionally I do get frustrated with the demands of modern-day life. Especially if hubby is away for night after night with no babysitter due to CV or family for support (as I live abroad). But here is the thing… I know what works, I know what doesn’t and I adjust my life accordingly. I sit down with my husband and discuss what we need to make this work. We come up with short term solutions and long-term solutions. And we continue as follows. Life happens - we adjust. That’s why I am so good at what I do. I see opportunities where others see problems. I can see/feel/read between the lines and see what is else possible. Am I perfect? No. Can I help you? Most definitely! |
so, how do you have a bigger impact without putting in more hours & effort?I’ve walked in those well-worn shoes of yours, feeling that same stress and strain of unfulfillment. By the time I reached my 30s, I was completely burned out.
After the birth of my daughter in 2015, I realised the collective lie "hard work equals success" wasn't working for me and I did not want the next generation to grow up and think this was "normal". So I made a powerful decision. I gave myself permission to break free of the old way of doing business and created a new business model - where holistic health and wealth are an integral part of the business. A business that would support my vision, my dreams, my wellbeing and my young family! A business that would set my soul on fire and make my wildest dreams come true and create extraordinary transformation for my clients. Thousands of people have benefited from my training and teaching. In fact, you can get step-by-step support now! |
